WRITER GUIDELINES

DFW Foreclosures encourages advertisers, and the community at large, to submit articles for publication. Queries should be submitted via e-mail to: chriscash@dfwforeclosuresmag.com and include a detailed focus of the article. Articles submitted to multiple publications will not be accepted; DFWF only prints exclusive content. The deadline for all articles is the 5th of the month preceding the month of publication.

The author must write to the audience in third person and must compose an article that speaks to the readership of DFWF. The primary readership is a buyer or investor of foreclosure properties. Subjects can include, but are not necessarily limited to: real estate market conditions; foreclosure processes; foreclosure loss mitigation; investment information and strategies; REO statistics and forecasts; mortgage information and market conditions; insurance concerns and information; title insurance; renovations and rehabbing. The article must not be self-promotional in nature.

Word count for columns, features and articles is a minimum of 500 words and a maximum of 1500 words.

DFWF adheres to guidelines set forth by the AP stylebook. Writers should review all work and adhere to these guidelines, including punctuation, abbreviation, capitalization, and work styles.

Every item submitted to DFWF for publication can be revised or rewritten at the sole discretion of the Editor. Writers will be given a reasonable amount of time to submit revisions. If the revised copy is not acceptable to the Editor, DFWF reserves the right to not run the article.

Writers should submit a 100-word biography and high-resolution photo (JPG).
